Maghela
I am a dentist with a master’s degree in Surgery and Implants, a profession I have passionately practiced since graduating in 2008.
Since my undergraduate studies, I discovered my love for surgery. What I enjoy the most is helping patients by eliminating pain through surgery and rehabilitating their smiles so they can feel confident in themselves.
I strongly believe in teamwork, as I consider collaboration essential to achieving better results and making a greater impact on patients’ lives.

Loretta
My career in dentistry began in 1996 as a trainee dental nurse in Washington DC, USA. Upon completion and with 2 years’ experience in an Endodontic Practice I was accepted into NUI Cork 'Dental Hygiene Programme'.
During my studies and to further my clinical experience I worked as an Orthodontic Nurse.
On graduating, I was honoured to win UCCs Research Project Prize for the year 2000. My research project was subsequently published in the Irish Dental Journal.
As a Hygienist, I moved to London and secured a position in a General Dental Practice in a prestigious 'Harley Street' clinic as their sole Hygienist. I routinely managed complex periodontal cases under sedation, as well as routine dental hygiene treatment including Teeth Bleaching.
I returned to 'Ballina Dental Practice' in the summer of 2010.
Along with my team of Hygienists and Dentists I look forward to assisting you in managing your Dental care.

Eileen
My name is Eileen Mare and I am a general dentist. I completed my Bachelor’s in Dental Science at Trinity College, Dublin. I love being a dentist because it ticks everything I was looking for in a career: something that is sociable, medical, practical and satisfying. My favourite area of dentistry is aesthetic work such as composite bonding, but don’t worry, if the tooth needs to come out you, we are rolling up our sleeves and getting you out of pain!
Outside of work my number one passion is cooking, I’ve pretty much watched every episode of master chef out there! I love taking long walks (especially since moving to Mayo), hosting, meeting up with friends (can you tell I’m an extrovert?), and joining my Vet husband the field (only to see the cute cattle
