Azzalure

Anti-wrinkle injections  are a simple and effective treatment to reduce fine facial lines such as “crows feet” and frown lines between the eyebrows.. This non-surgical anti-wrinkle treatment aims  to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by targeting specific facial muscles which cause wrinkles to appear. Anti-wrinkle injections offer prevention & treatment at the same time. They are a safe and effective  treatment to achieve smoother younger-looking skin. Cosmetic injections are administered by our highly qualified staff following a consultation.  Small quantities of the anti-wrinkle treatment are injected into the face to target muscles that  cause lines to appear where collagen has broken down over time with ageing. It can take up to 5 days before the results are visible, full effects are visible after two weeks. These usually last for 3-4 months. A follow-up review can be scheduled two weeks after the treatment.  

Side effects are minimal and temporary. The most common injection-related are:  

•   Swelling 

• Redness 

• Pain 

• Itching 

• Discolouration – Bruising for 24 hours  

• Tenderness 

These generally resolve within 2-7 days. If you suffer with cold sores, please be mindful that AW treatment may trigger an outbreak. 

AW After-care 

Do not take ibuprofen or Aspirin for two days after treatment, OR for one week prior to treatment 

Do not ice the swollen area as you may disturb the product placed 

Do not rub or massage face for four hours after treatment – as this may spread the injected material to other muscles in your face 

Avoid exercise, apart from walking, for 24 hours after treatment.  

Avoid alcohol after for 24 hours post treatment as they may cause bruising.  

Avoid rubbing or applying make-up to the treated area for a few hours post treatment.
